    Electricity prices for households have been decreasing since 2013, reaching US$4.6 c/kWh in 2017 following a peak at US$6.9c/kWh in 2013.


  • Energy Consumption

    Per capita consumption is about 4.6 toe, and about 4 200 kWh of electricity.


    Total energy consumption increased very rapidly between 2000 and 2014 (6%/year), peaking at 81.5 Mtoe; it decreased between 2014 and 2016 with the economic slowdown. With the economic recovery, it reached 83.5 Mtoe (+2.3%) in 2017.
